I'd like to tell you about a book I've had the pleasure of participating in. It's called, "Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Story Behind The Song". (Distributed through Simon and Schuster, Inc.) Its' release date is set for November 10th, 2009.

It was a joy working with Jo-Ann Geffen, (veteran publicist). In addition to being a pleasant person she also knew which questions to ask and how to ask them. She brought back memories that I hadn't thought of in years! To the extent that I am only one of over 100 other artists involved in this effort it promises to be a fun and informative read.

We touch on my life as a child in the Rocky Mountains and how I came to be a lover of music in general. As some of you may have already guessed my former group, "Iron Butterfly" and the song, "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" are covered to some degree.
